Laurie Harris serves as Office Manager, Head of Human Resources for Gary B. Coursey & Associates Architects and provides key administrative and operational support to all areas of the business. With more than 25 years of experience in office management, Laurie keeps GCA’s office running like a well-oiled machine. She serves the team by ensuring the office and everyone in it are happy, healthy and ready to produce best-in-class architectural and interior designs for clients.

While Laurie tends to be a behind-the-scenes player at GCA, her efforts and contributions are vital. Whether she’s reconciling accounts payable and receivable or making sense of complicated benefits administration tasks, she is a consummate team player. While no two workdays may look alike, Laurie’s eagerness to help is constant. She understands the fast-paced, deadline driven environment of an architectural firm and does whatever it takes to support her colleagues and their projects.

Before joining our team in 2022, Laurie was an Office Manager at Preferred Apartment Communities, Inc. for 17 years, until they were acquired by Blackstone.

When she’s not making sure our I’s are dotted and our T’s are crossed, Laurie enjoys spending time with her family, reading and cooking.
